POOL PROFESSIONALS WITH THE EXPERTISE TO MAKE YOUR VISION A REALITY
Melissa Brown
A certified Professional Engineer, Melissa is proud of BonaVista’s history of exacting standards, innovative designs, and unwavering client focus. A second-generation family enterprise, the company was founded in 1969 by Melissa’s father, Bob Brown. Melissa started working there at 13, helping her mother with payroll during the school year, then cleaning pools each summer. Her favourite workdays are those she spends in the field, building pools with her crew. Away from the job, you can find Melissa cooking up something yummy in the kitchen, tending to her gardens, or enjoying her custom concrete endless pool with her husband and four children.
Peter Brown
Peter grew up in the family business and learned to appreciate a well-built pool while cleaning pools, and later building them, every summer during high school and university. After graduating from St. Francis Xavier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, Peter became BonaVista’s Construction Manager. He has successfully managed teams of 30 seasonal labourers and tradespeople, building more than 600 custom concrete pools. Away from work, Peter enjoys playing his guitar and holding big splash cannonball contests with his four young children in their freeform family pool.
JENNIFER GANNON
DONNA DRUCKMULLER
Growing up in Toronto, Donna has loved pools since she was a little girl. By grade 9 she discovered the pool industry and worked summers as a maintenance technician. Donna graduated from college in Graphic Design and worked in that field for a year, but ultimately decided she missed pools. Donna joined BonaVista in 2006 and is celebrating a successful career path. In her free time, Donna enjoys spending time with her daughter, camping trips to northern Ontario, and seeing her favourite bands play live.
SARAH SPENCER
After graduating from Seneca College in 1989 as a Legal Secretary, Sarah worked in that field for several years. She knew that she had found her life’s passion when she was introduced to the pool industry in 1998. Sarah joined the BonaVista family in 2007, immediately bolstering our roster with her warm heart, dynamite customer service, legalese, attention to detail, and that bright smile. Sarah loves interacting with her customers, helping them enjoy the bliss of their backyard getaways. Away from work, she finds her greatest rewards spending quality time with her two beautiful daughters and her husband.
DIPAL SHAH
Born in India, Dipal has been keenly interested in finance since childhood. She honed her investment and money management skills, studying and working in India’s investment banking industry. After moving to Toronto in 2014, she pursued further studies in Accounting and Finance, and joined BonaVista Pools in 2016. Dipal has the unique ability to take complicated financial documents and make them easy to understand for the rest of us. When not at work, Dipal loves travelling the world with her family, and surfing the investment markets.
